PostMark Configuration:
  • set size 1000 90000
  • set number 2000
  • set transactions 50000
This test bumps the maximum file size to 90,000 bytes, and has a net result in causing about 1400MB of data to be read and written to. This exceeds the RAM on the system and should generate a moderate amount of IO to let us see how our 15K RPM SCSI drives perform.
