Adding filesystem level encryption to a notebook is a good way to protect sensitive corporate information often carried by "road warrior" employees on their notebooks.

Today, Lamont Peterson, Senior Instructor at Guru Labs, published instructions on how to setup encrypted filesystems on Fedora Core and Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system distributions.

The instructions provided by Peterson are short and easy to follow. It is necessary to download a single file in order to provide easy, boot-time mounting of encrypted filesystems. The needed file is available for download at Guru Labs' website.
