Q: Does Guru Labs courseware map to industry Linux certifications?
A: YES! Guru Labs core Linux courses map well to a number of industry standard Linux certifications.

Q: Is the material up to date?
A: YES! Guru Labs loves working with the latest and greatest technologies. We currently offer courseware that supports the latest enterprise and professional releases from Red Hat and SUSE

Q: What if I use Mandrake, Debian, Gentoo, etc. ? 
A: Because the courseware focuses on lower level command-line functionality, and how things work "behind the scenes" nearly all the knowledge gained from Guru Labs' Linux courses is applicable to any Linux distribution. As always feel free to check with us if you have specific questions.

Q: Does the courseware have lab exercises, or just lecture material?
A: Comprehensive lab exercises are included that let students practice virtually everything they learn. Lab tasks have real-world application (are designed to help students practice the specific skills that they are most likely to use later on the job). Most courses are somewhere between 30-40 percent lab based. One major exception is the Linux Troubleshooting course which is approximately 80 percent lab.

Q: What if I need custom courseware?
A: No problem. Guru Labs can compile custom books from existing material, or create entirely new content.
