GOODS FROM THE GURUS

In this section you'll find freely available white papers, reviews, and guides on various Linux and security topics. This information might supplement some topic in our courseware , or be relevant to a current event such as new release of some important software product.

In the process of writing our courseware , we occasionally write a script or a utility to ease the administration of a software package. Additionally, while using our Linux systems sometimes we need a software package that isn't included or is out-of-date. In those cases we package the software into a RPM. These files can be obtained from our downloads page.

The term, Planet, refers a web page that aggregates blog, or weblog postings. We have setup Planet Guru Labs to just display the technical postings and musings from Guru Labs' instructors. Use the Planet to get an educational peek at the internal commotion of Guru labs.

We have a company wide obsession with putty . We now order it in 200lb shipments and hand it out to our students. We have setup a Planet to display all the putty related blog postings. Nearly all have pictures of putty creations are by staff and students.
